Rochard Palm Tree and Hammock Limoges Box

A hammock hangs from a palm tree, swaying gently in an island breeze. This tropical piece is a Rochard Limoges box, porcelain shaped and painted by hand in Limoges, France.

Swing Into Vacation Mode

Few things say slow down like a hammock strung beneath a palm. The scene recalls lazy afternoons, a paperback novel and the sound of surf just a few steps away, with nothing on the schedule but a nap.

Tropical Travel Mates

• A Rochard beach and travel design from Limoges
• Pairs with the palm tree and chair box
• Fits a beach, island or vacation collection

Retirement in the Shade

This little scene makes a lighthearted retirement present, a honeymoon memento from Mexico or the Caribbean, or a winter pick-me-up for a friend dreaming of warmer weather. Sailors, divers and sun seekers will all recognize the feeling.

Display it on a sunroom table, a lake house shelf or an office desk that needs a hint of escape. Next to the palm tree and beach chair box, it builds a little island scene on the shelf, ready for a long rest any time of year.
